Just my wanderings so i can remember where i`ve been in future years, watch if you want and subscribe too, if you like them
Souther (Haunted) Fell
Break in the relentless rubbish weather, prompted myself and my mate to finally bag this fell. I had a couple of days off work and grabbed the opportunity.
Legend has it that a spectral Ghost army haunts this fell, however no Ghostly goings on occurred.
The only dodgy goings on was the terrible singing, but you know what it keeps myself and Marree entertained, we hope we are getting better as time goes by, but probably not.
Good catch up, good ale and good food, what's not to like.

A nice trip out on a Friday night after work, Sidders didn't make it, so I was left in peace and quiet to enjoy the night. The best nights sleep I have had in a long time.
Broom Fell Take Two

A fantastic' epic night out in Whinlatter forest on Broom Fell, myself and my mate Sid set out in wonderful weather, and it continued for the whole trip. Maybe a little early for midges but I don't think they're far away. so be aware.
Keswick to Barrow 38 Mile (61KM) trek For Charity
Переглядів 3702 місяці тому
Starting early on a Saturday morning I caught the 4 AM happy bus from kendal to just south of Keswick. Where we would start this mammoth walk, our team consisting of myself my fellow team mates Maree, Graham, Grahams Mum and last but not least Imogen (Pip) the 13 year old daughter of Maree. We set off with a spring in our steps, heading first for Grasmere then onto Coniston, the sprung feet wer...
Gateshead Half Marathon

A wee vlog of the Gateshead half Marathon that my son, Lee was competing in. It was his first half marathon and he finished in 2:18, found it a bit hard due to his lack of real preparation, but he did it. There was a lot of confusion on my part, as I could not understand who the slower runners were in front of the lead runners. However after speaking to my son the next day it was in fact the fu...
Switzerland in The Snow
Переглядів 1213 місяці тому
A week in Switzerland visiting my son and his partner who now live over there. Not quite the holiday I was expecting of walking through alpine meadows, and listening to cow bells ringing through the valleys. Instead it was a bit more alpine winter than alpine spring. However we still made the most of this beautiful country, and had a great time. The video is somewhat disjointed with no real sto...

A Chopwell Run
Переглядів 1283 місяці тому
Myself and my son (who is training for a half marathon) headed up to our local woods at Chopwell, a large forestry England wood not far from home. My pace was very slow but I made it round this time. Lee did a bit more distance than me but also a similar time. Hopefully more runs to come.

Dog On The Tyne
Переглядів 1024 місяці тому
Plan B walk over to Newcastle, to visit a pub I have been wanting to visit for years. Just an initial trip over with the dog, and what a fantastic place it was, I will definitely be heading over with Linda when I have my next day off. I tried a pint of Extra Black, a very dark porter and it was exceptional. What spurred me onto the trip was a vid I watched from a van life channel called by the ...

Great vid. Barney is so cute!
@@heatherandthehounds he is a lovely natured dog, but that noise he makes is constant, unless he is eating or moving, mind you he probably thinks the same about our singing 🤣🤣
@@Markwildcamp 🤣🤣🤣 I wish you’d filmed Marie’s dinner mind. I follow her on Facebook and her camping food is amazing 👌
Can’t beat a bit of Kenny Rogers. 🤪 Well that was a really nice camp up there. Loads of places to pitch hey. Shame about the weather. Let’s hope it gets better soon. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.🙏👍🍺
@@penninewayne1967 thanks for watching, yes there was plenty of room and very much like the other northern fells. We really need to print some songsheets off for next time😁
Really enjoying the video. Until the singing 😂😂👍
@@grahamswildcamping singing is getting worse, but hey ho 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Markwildcamp if you are enjoying yersel it counts mate 😂👍

@@thegeordiefellwalker8878 aye just a local one, got a new bike to test out, I hope it hasn't got a loose wheel 🤣🤣
Quieter up that neck of the woods, thanks for watching
Good one mate - lovely little place that Mungrisdale..
Quieter up there, thanks for watching
Great location👍
Loved your liteweight shxxxweight comments ...... 100% 😅
@@mjpni2000 it's so true though, I see people spending a fortune on lightweight kit and having little comfort or safety if it hits the fan. Thanks for watching PS. they're also a bit overweight, like myself🤣
Hello Mark. Nice to see you still getting out wild camping. Enjoy watching. Thanks Steve 👍
@@stevesdaysoff2759 what yous up to now Steve and what neck of the woods?
‘Shut that door’ wey aye I’m old enough to remember that 😂 Lovely up there Mark, good to see you back oot making camping videos 👍
@@grahamswildcamping thanks, I enjoyed that one, the weather has been terrible of late, new bike in its way so hopefully get a few bikepacking vids done
Great camp mate, that mic worked great, can i ask what is it and would it work with a go pro?
@@thebackingpackinggeordie it's for the DJI osmo 4, so it's completely linked via Bluetooth, instead of having separate transmitter and receiver plugged into the camera, rendering it not waterproof, I know it works with the iPhone but not the go pro, but I could be wrong
@@Markwildcamp cheers mate
Great stuff.....😊 Oòoohh, shut that door etc....😬. 👏👏👍🏼🫡🙏
everard shut that tent door 🤣 hope things are ok send linda my best regards.
Will do Geordie, the old uns are the best
Great outing Weardale is an amazing place. I'm lucky enough to spend a lot of time there. That looked a nice chilled camp, you can't beat a solo from time to time.👍👍
@@360OutdoorAdventures plenty of more space there to explore, thanks for watching
Fantastic place - I was lucky enough to go to school in Wolsingham, and I visit Weardale often, still….nice one mate 👍
@@Gooner-1971 very peaceful, thanks for watching
Looked like a great location for a camp, great video too 👍👍
Thanks, it's a quieter part of the lakes and not too busy
Cheese and onion, ready salted or BBQ. Just wondering what flavour the fly was? Looked a nice relaxing camp, short walk in with barmy weather. Great to watch 😀
Ready salted I reckon, stuck in my throat 😱 Cracking weather for a change, look at it now🤔
& sid james 😊
Already gets Sid James 🤣
@@Markwildcampi think I'm losing the plot you did say sid james (worrying) 🤨
Not forgetting Sid Waddell 😁
A good call, as I am running out of Sids😂
It’s a great location Mark , love that part of the lakes . I’ve never had any ghostly goings on , but I did have a dream someone was trying to strangle me through the tent !! Atb Dave ⛺️👍
That's why I always lie the wrong way around in any tent, a bit OCD but could be a lifesaver🤣
I did coniston to barrow this year got blisters on my feet from it but it was worth the pain ☺️
No blisters, but a lot of pain, thanks for watching and hope the blisters heal
@Markwildcamp Ur welcome and yeah there healed now the blister and tor cramps I had were so bad and limping for a couple of days but all better now ☺️
Hot day 👍
I have vivid memories of completing this walk as a teenager way back in 1975. I can recall it rained at the start, but the weather picked up during the day and that pint at the end (admittedly underage) was nectar. Next year will mark 50 years since my one and only attempt and your video has got me thinking about a comeback!
Glad it has inspired you, go for it, I'll be back next year, thanks for watching
Thank you for this! The heat was a killer on Saturday!
I think dangerously so, I hope there were no serious medical issues. Thanks for watching, looking forward to the sequel next year😁
got blisters just watching 🤣 well done gang 💪
Thanks Geordie, it was an extremely hard day out, next stop, Durham dales then a month later, a foot in two dales😎
@@Markwildcamp if you want company on durham dales let me know when you enter.
Fascinating stuff 😂

hope he finished mark. it was a complicated set up 🤔 i used to be the same getting inspired after going to watch bike races.the dedicated training used to last about 2 weeks 🤣
Aye he got finished 2:18, my training will start soonish🤣
@@Markwildcamptried a couple of short runs a few weeks ago was going to do Denton park run but my old bones just can't take it . was surprised at how good my cardio was for a old man 🥴

GOOD VLOG GOOD TO HEAR MY HOME TOWN OF KENDAL MENTIONED
A beautiful place where my mate resides, lucky people, thanks for watching
tell you what you wouldn't get them little snow clearing machine's over here & triple decker trains 👍
Our railways could learn a lot from the Swiss, seamless connections and never a minute late, what a place Geordie, not the holiday I was expecting but when I return I will be in the mountains, Legs of steel has the tour de mont blanc pencilled in💪💪
@@Markwildcamp this country's fcukd mark we should of got out year's ago😏 i think Peter done tour of mont blanc💪
I live in the middle of those "hills for no reason" and I burst out laughing when you said that 😂 I couldn't agree more! At least the weather stayed nice for you. All the best
I was hot and confused, misjudged how hilly the route was, plus the headwind and iffy gears, any excuse tbh🤣thanks for watching
Beautiful scenery mate, I enjoy nice genuine content where blokes arent showing off their new drones and shite like that, keep em coming rights!
It gets a bit samey the old QVC channels, thanks for watching
‘Ah divvent watch many other people’s videos ‘cos they’re sh*te’ I was cracking up 😂😂😂 tell it how it is 😂
I watch yours Graham as they have a bit humour and history in them😁it's true though, I watched all of them years ago, however I find most of them sh*the. It my mate Marees favourite saying "are you still doing that you tube sh#te"🤣
@@Markwildcamp haha, I love it, I was hooting at your honesty and there’s obviously truth in what you say 😂 but I’m seriously honoured you watch my sh*te still- as you were one of the folks who inspired me to start 👍
ill watch the rest of it when i get back. got to go & do another scarifying job .spotted the blue karrimors though 💪👍
Can't miss them Geordie 🤪
Hey Mr T, oddly after nearly sixty years I have just got into Guinness. Looked like it was a good one, shame about the Chippy being closed.😋
It think the chippy scenario has happened before and we ended up in that posh services on the M6, forgot the name🤔
Nice one mate, sound that
Thanks 👍
Cracking video Mate.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks
You've got me shamed with the amount of energy you have. I think you've just shamed me into starting the couch 2 5k 😂😂
Gan for it, I'm in need of a few stone off
good to see you chasing your lee around the woods 😂 is the bike back in the shed like 😂 iam waiting for a calm neet for a camp as well.
No it is still out of the shed but it is going back in tomorrow, waste of time this weather, hoping for a couple of nights out next Thursday and maybe Saturday. Freezing out there today.
Gan on 👍💪
Brings back lots of happy memories this one Mark. I holidayed at Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey quite a few times as a nipper. I loved it. I've had the odd night or weekend over the years too. Last time I was there was on the Coast to Coast a couple of years ago. Great video mate. John.
Yes, loved the place when I was young, was good to get back, next time it's just the two of us on a pub crawl😁
@@Markwildcamp 🤣🍻
Nice one mate! Good to see you out again. Any camps planned with Andy? ATB
No
@@Markwildcampoh! Ok mate. No worries
Good to see you back up in the hills , think I’m like you a fair weather camper 😂 no sign of the aurora ?
Never seen the aurora, I think it coincides with cold weather, I have no chance😁
bit of a mixed bag with the new gear (pardon the pun) normally good the rab bags like. I always thought peter had the 900 but it was the neutrino 600 & he could kip in it in just his boxers but that was usually in bothies mind usually a few degrees warmer 🤔mince & dumplings on the moors 😋
The neutrino is a better quality bag, the ascents are their budget bag
